Flutter · Dart · ML Kit · Camera

Point the camera at a person, drag the slider, and watch belly, cheeks, arms and thighs expand proportionally to the chosen weight — live, on-device, no cloud. Deliberately unserious; the engineering underneath is not.

How it works

ML Kit finds the body landmarks in each frame. Landmark geometry becomes circular warp regions — belly center from the hip/shoulder midpoints, face radius from ear distance, limb regions along the segments — with strength derived from the kg value (belly grows fastest, face subtler). The frame is then rendered as a triangle mesh via ui.Vertices, texture coordinates pulled toward region centers with a quadratic falloff so those areas appear pushed outward. No pose detected? Identity mesh, plain camera.

Why it exists

A weekend spent answering “can Flutter do real-time mesh warping without an image-processing library?” It can — a custom vertex mesh over the camera feed is enough, and the whole pipeline fits in five small files.
